Given the status of the ongoing initiatives to fight climate change, and the insufficient progress made so far in the decarbonisation challenge, there is a growing need for carbon capture, utilization and storage (CCUS) to help with the energy transition and decarbonization of industrial processes, also considering the growing urgency to address climate change felt by the general public, as well as by policy makers and investors.
